Welcome to our Phonics Activities-Reading Lesson #2-page
3. This is the second of several Phonics Activities designed to help your child develop
the ability to associate the correct sounds with the letters
representing the consonants and short vowels of the English language.
This lesson is to be used after Lesson #1 and allows your child to try
to sound the letters without the help of pictures and then allows you to
click through to the letter pictures and sounds for help or
confirmation.
This page has letters S through Z. Please select the letter you wish to
work with by selecting it from the list of letters above. You will be
taken to a picture which displays the letter in both capital and lower
case. Try to get your child to say the sound of the letters. If he or
she needs help or wants confirmation of success then click through to
the picture and sound for the letter.
You can go back to Phonics Activities page 1 (letters A through I) or page 2 (letters J
through R) by clicking on the |page 2| or |page 3| links at the above
right or at the bottom of this page.
